Developing Countries with Strategic Interest
Following the success of this course conducted in 2025, INTAN hopes that
this course will provide insights and experiences related to Malaysia’s civil
service collaborative governance landscape, highlighting both current and
emerging opportunities for strategic partnerships. Additionally, the course
seeks to share with participants a 'new way of working' through collaborative
governance, a dynamic platform aimed at enhancing excellence in Malaysia’s
civil service delivery. Fundamentally, this course serves as a precursor to the
concept and practical knowledge of strategic collaborative governance arrangements
within the civil sector, with a focus on enriching the quality of service
offered to the community.
At the end of the course, participants will be able to:
1. Foster a deeper understanding of the interconnectedness of global challenges and the need for collaborative solutions. Through panel discussions and expert presentations, explore how issues like climate change, economic inequality, and technological disruption require joint action across sectors and borders;
2. Build a global community of practice for collaborative governance. Create a platform for ongoing knowledge sharing, peer support, and collaboration among participants, fostering a network of changemakers committed to navigating the labyrinth together.
3. Generate a vision for a future where collaborative
governance is the norm, and collective action drives sustainable and equitable
development. This could involve brainstorming sessions and scenario planning
exercises to envision different models of governance for the future.
